Tiger Woods Poker Night, Presented by WPT Foundation Segment Debuts Sunday on FSN
The 17th-annual Tiger Jam returned to Las Vegas in May, welcoming celebrities, sponsors, and rock stars for a memorable, star-studded weekend that raised more than $1 million for the college-access programs of the Tiger Woods Foundation. The sold-out event featured a Friday night charity poker tournament, followed up by Ed Sheeran joining host Tiger Woods at MGM Grand where the GRAMMY-nominated singer performed his top hits for a private concert with Tiger Jam guests.
To join the party in 2016, interested guests can sign up for the wait list at www.tigerjam.com.
After checking Shadow Creek off the bucket list, poker great Phil Hellmuth took to the microphone to emcee Tiger’s Poker Night presented by the World Poker Tour®, a Texas Hold ’em charity tournament. The event welcomed professional poker players Antonio Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu, and WPT® commentators Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten, who gave the amateurs, including Mark Cuban, a run for their money. The competition at the tables heated up as Tiger Jam guest and amateur competitor Travis Blackwood won the tournament. Tiger’s Poker Night presented by the World Poker Tour generated more than $500,000 to go toward the foundation’s college-access programs.
